About the Property The cottage is perfect for 4 people but in the lounge is a settee that folds out for an additional double bed if required. There is Satellite TV (BBC1, BBC2, ITV and other freeview channels are available). On the ground floor there is a fuuly equipped open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area with seating for 8 people.. Off of the kitchen is access in to the smaller of the two barns attached to the side of the cottage, this has been converted in to a utility room with washing machine and a bathroom fitted with Toilet, bath and separate shower. Outside there is a reasonable garden where you can sit during the summer and enjoy the peace of the country side or barbecue in the evening Facilities Parking, Television, Microwave, Dish washer, Showers, bath, Garden. Bed linen is NOT supplied Surrounding Area Beaches Within a 20 minute car journey are the beaches that have loosely come to be known as the Côte de Granit Rose. There are indeed great granite boulders scattered in the sea around the island of Bréhat, and at the various headlands to the west, but the most memorable stretch of coast lies around Perros – Guirec, where the pink granite rocks are eroded into fantastic shapes. Walks You can walk down the road and follow the trails through the Foret Domanaile De Coat An Hay and many other walks that are available from the tourist office in Belle Ilse en Terre. Eating Belle Isle has an excellent family run Creperie, or you can visit the many restaurants in nearby towns. Sightseeing Guingamp is an 18th century town within a 20 minute car journey, and 30 minutes away is St Brieuc, other places of interest are Paimpol, Morlaix, Tregastel, Dinan, Rennes, Internet access Is available for a small charge in Belle-Isle ask at the tourist office Prices To secure the booking a 25% deposit is required and the balance to be paid 8 weeks before arrival, in addition a £150 security deposit is to be sent with the balance and this will be refunded to you as long as there are no breakages or damage to the property. In some instances the owner may be able to provide a discount to the Brittany ferries cost, please ask for more details.
